Jim has had a long association (over 15 years) with youth basketball in Central Illinois. He has been extremely successful over his coaching career, having won 6 consecutive National Championships for the American Youth Basketball Tour in their highest level. He has also carried over that success (From AYBT) to the "AAU" or "Grassroots" circuit. He has also successfully run youth basketball tournaments every year during his time.
Jim is a lawyer that has his own law practice. On top of that he is an absolute basketball junkie. He is also extremely active in Kiwanis having recruited over 800 members and built over 30 new kiwanis clubs. He is active in the community and has given alot of time, money and effort to developing many athletes and citizens as part of the Peoria Irish.

He is a graduate of Loras College. He was a point guard during his career at Loras. He was selected as an All Confrence and All Area Player during his high school days at Oswego High School. He was an assistant coach for the 2006 & 2007 season under Coach Jim Rochford. During his first 3 years of head coaching his teams had a record of 109 wins and 31 losses. His teams won 10 Tournament Titles during that time. Success has continued to grow each year.
Gavin is a personal trainer and league coordinator. Basketball is his passion and loves being around it any way he can. He conducts all our individual and group training sessions. He has trained players from mostly the Peoria Area, however he has also had players from Canton, Bloomington/Normal, Galesburg, Champaign, and Shelbyville come to train with him. He also handles putting the teams together for our program and assists with our player's college recruitment. He has established many good relationships with college coaches at all levels and many of the top scouting services as well.
Frank Seipp: (Past Coach)
He has been around basketball for the last 10 years. Following his sons at the AYBT level and now at the Grassroots level. he has been in medicine for 18 years with a side interest in sports medicine and athlete performance. His history fits in well with the program as a coach as well as evaluating acute injuries and pre-treatment / prevention.
Jeff Peters: (Past Coach)
Jeff coached in our program for 3 years. He had a lot of success with many wins against top ranked teams. His son Alec is one of the best players to have come out of our program. Alec will be attending Valporaiso in the fall 2013 on full ride scholarship for basketball. He was a great contributor to the program and will continue to be around the program in the future.
Cliff Cameron: (Past Coach)
Cliff coached in our program for 1 year. He is the current Pleasant Plains High School head coach. He helped our program to reach out to more players by establishing a 2nd team at the 17U age group in 2012. They had a very successful year and fully expect all their players to participate in College Basketball after they graduate high school this upcoming season. His team beat a number of top teams in the Midwest.
